Taylor
Studio offers the public the opportunity to visit an artist's
studio, where original oil paintings are created and displayed.
The artist in residence, Marjorie Taylor, has spent the past
ten years traveling and painting in Europe, Central America,
North Africa, as well as throughout The United States, capturing
the local landscape, personality and culture of these regions
on canvas. Her passion for travel and her love of painting
“en plein air” have combined to create a large body of work.
“Painting on location enables me to spontaneously capture the
atmosphere of each place I visit, and brings authenticity to
my studio work,” says Ms. Taylor. Her artwork is represented
in galleries, shows and private collections nationally and
internationally. Her paintings have received numerous awards
in juried art shows. She is a member of various professional
artist organizations. Taylor Studio also offers periodic workshops
in oil painting, life drawing, and plein air painting.
